The ExpandCoin universe opens in a state of conflict. Even though the coin is well intended, it represents change and is not accepted by the old school 'investors'. (Every citizen is now referred to as an 'investor' by this movement).

The old school believes we just need to meditate and rely on self motivation and hard work....while the ExpandCoin movement is focused on gamification as the ultimate way to guarantee progress.

The ExpandCoin is actually valuable in the real world and can be spent on food and rent and utilities.

Hearing the modern music is hilarious, it actually contains the sound of change clinking, cash registers, and slot machines.

The current conflict is basically between masculine oriented spirituality (ExpandCoin) vs feminine oriented (old school). In the background, people are attempting to hijack the system. Spiritual hackers are looking for weaknesses in the blockchain. 

When an ExpandCoin is received, it can be 'archived' or 'opened'. Once opened, it reveals a unique numeric code which can be 'installed' into a person's system through direct energy transmission if they are skilled/attuned, or via an assisting bio-resonance device.

In this way, citizens are not only 'rewarded' for their personal growth, but rewarded with tools to assist into the next layer. And they can then use their discretion (survival system vs intuition) to spend them or to 'invest' them.

We can see that even the anarchist, Dijon, who is anti-expandcoin, even has a secret vibrational addiction - opening expandcoins whenever he has a few minutes alone to download the next vibration, and secretly hating himself for doing so.

At the forefront of the technology revolution is Charlotte, CTO of the expandcoin parent organization and revolution. It's her job to ensure that the newest technology is rolling out constantly and that all citizens are updated on how to use the most recent versions.

SheQueen and Drunvalo are essentially living in the future, testdriving the next version of the ExpandCoin system and providing notes on how to ensure proper integrating for end users. They barely register the outside world as they live in nearly complete isolation from the influences of modern day reality.
Michael, the most prominent ExpandCoin user, is well known for pushing the envelope and seeing how far the rabbit hole goes. He has become something of a lobbyist, pushing his ExpandCoin agenda onto nearly everyone and advertising his spiritual services as #1 code holder in the universe. He advertises his "Master ExpandCoin" Course onto every broadcast available, also sharing his incredible abilities such as instant healings, walking on water, moving the wind, even caught at a party farting rainbows.

Season 1 starts off illustrating the growing pains the ExpandCoin movement is experiencing in terms of resistance from the old school. There is a bit of an 'anarchist' movement, making it a point to destroy codes so no one can use them (not realizing they are stored in a database).

Next, in The Gateway, it's made clear that the expandcoin 'field' is a new dimension altogether - and those who surrender to this field are simply allowing the rules of the game to seep into their subconscious. Of course, th anarchists see this as a control tactic, but they have their own problems too....

A new coin fad pops up which begins advertising timetravel. Michael becomes very anti timetravelcoin saying it's just a fad and nothing can compare to true growth. Though he does try it and comes back elated after experiencing himself in the future. And only serves to make him more excited for expandcoin saying that the importance of this expansion is now crystal clear.

Next, AnarchyCoin finally drops and it has a small cult following. People are rebelling simply because it seems to be a habit and they need something to rebel against.

Next, QueenShe and Drunvalo dive into using the nextgen ExpandCoin assisting device to download new codes to bring greater relationship intimacy....hoping to master any relationship drama...cracking the code to making conflict enjoyable.

Then, everything seems to be on pause. Expandcoin is delivering the latest update. The 'market' has come to a hault. AnarchyCoin is trying to get attention but since there's nothing to fight, no one is moving. This stillness apparently contains its own codes without needing any coin to unlock them.

Next, ExpandCoin is back with a vengeance. The latest update is a new automation, making it so people who are 'hooked' don't need to even think about it before obtaining new codes and coins. The black market especially loves this because overconsumption is accelerated. The hardcore materialist addicts are pushing for greater and greater influence selling enlightenment codes.

Then, it gets personal. Charlotte accidentally bumps into Dijon, her ex lover.... they get coffee and end up sleeping together. After that, boundaries are unclear. Do I want to keep seeing him? He stands for the opposite of everything I care about! She looks at a potential future with him, getting rid of all of her assets and living on an island together somewhere.

Then Soma bursts onto the scene. Not only can we now download new codes, but Soma will actually stop the old ones. It feels great, but the real key is in learning how to bring them to true completion rather than using it as a bandaid. ExpandCoin fans are skeptical until it's learned that this is an official ExpandCOin product produced by QueenShe and Drunvalo. Charlotte has mixed feelings about it.

For the season finale, ExpandCoin is back up and the market is active again. Everyone realizes that the gap really wasnt that bad. There is a general vibe of lackadaisical approach to ExpandCoin now. Charlotte calls on Dijon to do his thing in order to ellicit more controversy and thereby more passion.
