Eyes of Evaluation

EYES OF EVALUATION
????????

Whenever we are looking through eyes of evaluation, we are placing our mind in charge.

Evaluation means determination of good or bad, right or wrong.

Sometimes it’s appropriate, but in general this is the unconscious human addiction.

“Logic” is completely evaluative.

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) does not exist in the realm of logic. Someone can be an absolute genius in the area of Evaluation, and at the same time can be a teenager in the area of EQ.

If someone presents you with 2 financing options, it might be helpful to evaluate the overall total costs.

But if a loved one shares their fears, evaluating right and wrong is not an emotionally intelligent response. Bringing objectification dynamics into the world of feelings is the nature of narcissistic abuse.

Most masculine oriented people are afraid of their emotions, and thus turn to logic as a default way of dealing with every issue.

Internally, of course, they are also evaluating themselves which leads to self hate and self denial. This may be an unconscious process, and yet it exists nonetheless. This weakens their connection to Truth and therefore is the cause of nearly all illness on this planet.

An addiction to evaluation is an addiction to control. Categorizing is not actually as necessary as mainstream thought paints it to be.

Evaluation, objectification, and categorization are primarily used for emotional comfort so people can “know how things are”.

What if it’s actually more emotionally healthy to NOT know?

So, if we are NOT looking through the lens of Evaluation, what are the other options?

After taking a breath, one can surrender into a state of curiosity.
Beginner’s mind. New. Fresh. Dynamic.

This is the nature of being ALIVE.

Having all the answers actually ends the curiosity and kills life.

The creation of ART moves energy, and opens up the possibility for new questions.

Art using the written word may appear to contain answers, and yet the newness of the energy it cultivates makes those original questions obsolete. This is the nature of evolution, and it happens every single day.
